The Golden State Business Showcase was
developed by the Yuba SBDC to assist local, small businesses - in
classically underserved areas of Northern California - gain
additional Internet exposure.
The areas we cover, and the businesses we serve, tend to be out
of the mainstream of most major marketing activities and
publications. And have typically not been served by the
directories and business lists that typically appear in more major
cities and regions. So the Yuba SBDC - whose purpose is to
help smaller business succeed and prosper - built, maintains, and
markets this directory.
Business listings in this directory are FREE to any and all Yuba
SBDC clients. All that is required is to
register with the Yuba SBDC
offices in Yuba City, Woodland or Lake County. This process
entitles the business to FREE counseling in a wide variety of areas,
including
- Business Plan development,
- Financial assistance, including QuickBooks training and
assistance,
- Information and assistance with loans,
- Assistance with website development, site marketing,
and FREE inclusion in this directory.
