Subterranean Blasting Service for the local AG Community

Rodent Blasters - Subterranean Blasting Service for the local AG CommunityServing Yuba, Sutter, Butte and Colusa Counties.

Our Methods are ...

Special offer to our new clients ...

  • 1/2 FREE on all jobs over 3 hours
  • 1/2 FREE service for referrals
  • $100 gift certificate on jobs over 12 hours

Our Objectives ...

To enhance the productivity and viability of the land and natural resources, via the intensive management and control of ground rodents, utilizing environmentally safe procedures.  Concerns for ground water contamination and non-targeted secondary kill require utilizing alternative mechanical and cultural control methods.  A combination of low impact subterranean blast treatments with professional site management assessment and planning can optimize economic returns to property owners yet are consistent with the needs and limitations of the land and surrounding resources.

Safe ...

Our technology provides an environmentally friendly solution that allows us to exterminate only the targeted pests with no residuals to harm children, pets, wildlife or the aquifer.

Effective ...

The Rodent Blasters technology delivers a precise combination of oxygen and propane directly into the pests burrow.  With a flip of the switch the mixture is ignited, producing an expanded force traveling at 5,000 per second.  The resulting concussion immediately eliminates the inhabitants and collapses most of the underground tunnel system, discouraging immediate re-infestation.

Our Methods ...

Our methods follow established guidelines of Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA).

  1. Site Survey is performed to identify problem areas, concerns and potential opportunities
  2. Problem areas are broken up into Managed Control Zones (MCZ's) for effective control and follow-up site analysis.
  3. Rodent Blasters is persistent with it's methodology in treatment of these rodents with follow-up control by site treatment and analysis.  We help farmers with squirrels in their walnut and prune orchards.
  4. Evaluation of the control program is performed following treatment of all MCZ's.  The completed site analysis will be submitted to the landowner and retained by Rodent Blasters for future reference.

Locally Owned and Operated ...

The foundation of Rodent Blasters are homeowners in the Yuba Sutter area.  As pet owners we sought a safe solution free chemicals, poisons and pesticides.  After exhaustive research we identified a solution that if available would solve a problem.  So the founders started a commercial operation to meet the needs of the Yuba Sutter residents.
