Butchie's Pool
Built in memory of Larry "Butchie" Montna, a young man with
developmental disability. His tragic death spurred members of
the community to join together to create a lasting legacy. To
honor Butchie's love of swimming, and otters, this specially
designed pool was built for the community to benefit other young
people with disabilities.

Butchie's Pool has even blossomed beyond the original purpose.
Now it serves many people in our community who have a wide variety
of health needs from arthritis to weight management to
rehabilitation.
Warm water activities, including swimming, volleyball, and
aquatic exercise classes, and a whole lot of fun. Butchie
Montna's legacy now provides good health and hope to hundreds of our
local people.

You only need a current physician's prescription for water
therapy at Butchie's Pool. Monthly fees based on a sliding
scale. Please bring proof of income.
